Open Question: Cypress Gardens, Winter Haven, Florida ?
Today, Saturday May 16, 2009 I was there. I hated it and I will never go back. It looks run down and abandoned (except for the small handfull of guests that were there). I was there last year and thought it was spectacular. Now it’s a dump. To get to the Waterpark, they load you onto a Tram and take you on a journey from the parking area down a long and winding road through the ruins of the old abandoned park where the rides used to be. It was eeerie. I feel guilty that I didn’t ask for my money back. Why did I just leave there today and not ask for a refund?

Open Question: My mom is always disappointing me…?
Well, today i spent the ENTIRE day with her helping her put up signs for an Open House she’s having tomorrow. I didn’t want to be with her at all, but she couldn’t take me home so i endured six hours of her driving around in circles. We dropped her business partner off at her house and then i asked my mom to drive me to an ice cream place so i could buy some ice cream…But she said she’d rather go see a movie, so we agreed to go home and get a few more signs and then head out to a movie. We got the signs in the car, but we still haven’t left. It was supposed to me just me and her today, and then she just changed all the plans.

She wanted my dad to come with us to see a movie, which i guess was okay, but my dad didn’t want to go to the movie since it was going to be so late (9:20). My mom got mad at him and said, again, me and her would just go see a movie. So i told her all the times, ranging from 9:00-9:50 and she didn’t answer me, so i just supposed she was still thinking about it. I asked if we were still going, and she said no because there wasn’t enough money (Yeah, right, my dad JUST got paid yesterday and we all three were going to go just ten minute ago!)

We can’t go tomorrow because i have to work. All i wanted to do was spend the day with my mom, without her on her stupid cell phone, and she decided to just do whatever she pleases. What can i do to stop her from disappointing me so much? This ALWAYS happens. We have plans and something else gets in the way of it…I hate being so disappointed, but i’ve come to expect it from her.

I know this seems really petty, but it upsets me when i can’t even depend on my own mom. Please, anyone, any advice?
